Well, I've finally decided to take the plunge and start documenting my son's life in something other than a sorry excuse for a baby book. Here goes nothing...
Sam is one. Well, one and a week... Time goes by SO fast. I think back to a year ago and I had an itty bitty baby who snuggled and slept and ate. Now I have a big kid, a bonafide "toddler" if you will. Unbelievable.

So... Sam's life to date:
Currently we are crawling like a maniac, pulling up to stand, then cruising. He is beginning to let go for tiny bits of time. He's walking holding on to someone's hands. All that big kid stuff that leads to actual walking. Scary.
Sam is far more social than his parents. Its crazy. When we were at the beach on vacation, he would crawl off to someone down the beach, plunk down in the middle of them and start babbling. Where did we find this kid?
As part of his ever expanding desire to socialize, Sam has taken up "dancing". Whenever he hears music, he stops what he is doing and bounces up and down to the music. He gets all serious in the process. He also loves to give kisses. He'll kiss anyone. A big, wet, wide open mouthed smack on the lips. Yummy!
Sam loves to eat. Undoubtedly.
He's a big boy, he's fun and we're having a blast.
